New Subdivision Coming to Oro Valley
January 7th, 2013 As new construction continues to heat up again with inventory remaining relatively low, builders are actively searching for property to develop. The latest builder making an acquisition was an affiliate of Scottsdale based Maracay Homes. They purchased a 53-acre parcel on the southeast corner of Tangerine Road and La Cholla for $4.2 million. A preliminary plat for this parcel showed 68 custom home lots expected with an average square footage of around 21,000 sq. ft. per lot. This is another positive sign for the housing market’s continued recovery and gives Oro Valley homebuyers another option in the future once this piece is developed. The location should generate good traffic for the builder as that corridor is well traveled.
